Inspired by the 1930s mobile safari camps, a time when African expeditions were true adventures into the unknown, Serengeti Pioneer Camp embraces a ‘zero footprint’ philosophy while maintaining an intimate connection with nature. The camp’s twelve tented accommodations blend classic safari charm with modern comforts, each featuring en-suite facilities, including a flushing toilet, vanity basin, and shower. Thoughtfully designed, the interiors capture the spirit of a bygone era, offering a nostalgic yet luxurious retreat in the heart of the Serengeti.

Full Board includes; Accommodation, all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), soft drinks, beer, house wines & selected spirits, teas, coffees and refreshments (on the property) and laundry services.
Game Package includes Full board accommodation, including breakfast, lunch and dinner, soft drinks, beer, house wines & selected spirits, laundry services, scheduled game drives scheduled activities, and transfers to/from our designated airstrip

Serengeti Pioneer Tents

Serengeti Pioneer Camp features twelve tented accommodations, including a spacious two-bedroom family tent, designed to capture the essence of a bygone safari era while providing modern comforts. Each tent is thoughtfully furnished with a queen-size bed draped in a mosquito net, bedside tables, and period-style lamps, evoking the charm of classic safari expeditions.

For added convenience, the tents include a clothes dresser and hat stand, while hot water is provided via solar heating, ensuring an eco-friendly yet comfortable stay. Guests can unwind under a canvas-covered awning with outdoor furniture, perfect for soaking in the breathtaking Serengeti views. Inside, plush lounge chairs offer a cozy retreat after a day of adventure in the wild.
